The old man and the boy develop a close relationship to each other because, in the Moses of Monsieur Ibrahim learn a lot about life and faith.
opinion:
includes hundreds of pages of this book, yet it is full of wisdom; short, though lovely conversation between Moses, the boy and Ibrahim, the wise old man. Starting with the quite amusing Anecdote about what makes Ibrahim Arabs on the corner. About the power of smile (I have to laugh often, Moses': Zack smile!) And up to the eyes not to close for the beauty of the world. So many little wisdom and messages can be found on these seemingly few pages.
particularly Ibrahim was able to laugh sometimes. Moses' decisions for me were not always understandable, but he made it, nevertheless, that I liked him. All in all it is is more of the messages that are transported through the characters, and that they bring to the reader accurately, the time after time touching even closer.
Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt is a great story in this book succeeded in that manages to stimulate thinking. Overall, she liked me but not as good as his book "Oscar and the Lady in Pink", to which my review will follow soon.
