Well, the hotel (Aurangabad)
of which I have added two more images that recall the old days were beautiful, there are 31 km (1.5 hours as a massive continuous rain) far to the Ellora Caves. It has been that of an adventure when you travel in India. What I have so seen on the trip (there and then returned to the fort Daulatabad Pune) and have experienced any shocks Europe. Of several broken-down animal carcasses (not just older and probably not dangerous for ground water and disease outbreaks) on the roadside in a ditch located on some trucks, fallen trees (Is the rainy season this year was very fierce and the rain for a long time above the annual target today was then again Daueregen. - So slow it is critical that ärwägt is to open a dam) (because of softened soil), rivers with massive flooding are the people very interesting. The country is virtually nowhere empty. Even in remote areas can see a still somewhere, two people. Either keep the sheep or cows, or by themselves. I think it also reflects a bit of the population again. What scares me even though is how often and how many people you see pee on the street. And not far someone may use the water for other purposes ... the road is shared by the way, all sorts - from the truck (mostly loaded completely) about cars, motorcycles, completely overloaded rickshaws (max I've seen about 10 people -. Europeans would probably go up to third with such a vehicle).
• Monumental
The Ellora Caves are also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I have, after we found yesterday, unfortunately no one indulged in English Guide here for us - 350 Rupis (ie ~ 7 € in addition to admission price). The money was very good, because the guide was really great and got us through three of the 10 caves out and also very much about the prehistoric - For example, a volcano in Goa for the entire landscape of Goa to up to Aurangabad responsible for today's landscape was beautiful. The whole area of the lava outflow umfast about 700 km in diameter and was in the last 65 000 years later demolished part of where today's mystical landscape has been created (at least in fog and rain), the extremely reminiscent of "The Lord of the Rings. It has really put himself in the film felt - a country full of myths and legends. And of course the fog and persistent rain has helped greatly.
went to the Caves is still on a short detour to the Daulatabad Fort The fort is protected by many solid defensive rings. There are probably some nasty death trap, but we have not found a lack Guide unfortunately.
• Eat Breakfast was good - there was of good toast (not the comic of my regular hotels) on fruit (papaya and pineapple) to breakfast cereals and to Dosa, Melu (salty donut), Donuts (sweet) to cake, Croisant, omelet and muffins all. Here is the hotel on the amount of time! If it would be renovated a bit better, it would really be worth a few stars.
• Work
Nix work!
• Leisure
This was vacation. Only for the two caves, it is worth a trip to India to make. In my case, I can still remember some of the hardships of the last 3.5 weeks. The Totphase is now finished for the time being and my mood is really good again!
